Steps for removing the floppy disk drive bay 
3  Remove the data cable between 

the floppy disk drive (1) and the 

motherboard and its power 

supply connector (2). Remove 

the screw (3) and open the 

bracket. Disconnect the 

connecting cable for the optical 

drive. 

 

 

 

4  Remove the three screws (1) 

 

 

 

5  Lift the drive bay out
