General Information
Security code
To prevent unauthorized use of phone and 
altering of settings, some of the functions 
are designed to operate only by entering 
the security code. The factory-set default 
security code is 12345. To avoid unauthor-
ized use of your phone, change the code in 
the menu Settings. Keep the new code se-
cret and in a safe place which is separate 
from your phone. For more details, see 
"Changing the security code".
Battery
Li-Ion battery BLK-1/BLK-2 is the re-
chargeable battery available for your 
phone.
WARNING! 
Use only batteries, 
chargers and accessories 
approved by the phone 
manufacturer. The use of any 
other types will invalidate any 
approval or warranty applying to 
the phone, and may be 
dangerous. 
For availability of approved accessories, 
please check with your Nokia dealer.
Labels on the phone
Your phone’s model number is located on 
the back of your phone under the battery. 
You’ll need the information on this label if 
you call Nokia Customer Service. To ask 
about an accessory, please have the acces-
sory available for reference.
