StorageSync User’s Guide
Overview
StorageSync tracks every backup, restore, and synchronization activity you perform. Each
time you perform one of these activities, StorageSync generates an activity report. The report
is saved in a Log folder that is date- and time-stamped. The Log folder resides in a Reports
folder located in the StorageSync directory on the removable media drive.

Using the StorageSync Reports window, you can view the reports associated with the
removable media drives. The Reports window shows:

The date and time when each StorageSync operation was performed.
The number of files involved with the operation.
The status of the operation (for example, Completed or Interrupted).
The activities are arranged with the most current one at the top. Once the reports are
displayed, you can view detailed report information, print the report, or delete individual or all
reports.

Viewing StorageSync Reports
To view StorageSync reports:

In a secondary window, click the REPORTS button. The Reports window appears.

Using the Select Media Drive drop-down list, select a media drive. The StorageSync
activities associated with the selected media drive appear in the Reports window (see
Figure 34).
