Certain shooting conditions may restrict what settings you can make on this camera.
For example, [

 DYNAMIC RANGE], [

 COLOR], [

 TONE] or [

 SHARPNESS] cannot be set with modes other than 

[

 PROVIA] in [

 FILM SIMULATION] of [SHOOTING MENU]. When selecting other modes such as [

 Velvia] or 

[

 SOFT] after setting [

 DYNAMIC RANGE], [

 COLOR], [

 TONE] or [

 SHARPNESS] with [

 PROVIA] mode, 

[

 DYNAMIC RANGE] is set automatically to [AUTO], and [

 COLOR], [

 TONE] and [

 SHARPNESS] are set 

automatically to [MID] or [STD].
In those cases, the following screen shows that the setting has been changed.
