Enable FTPS (Anonymous FTP Is Disabled By Default)
To enable FTPS:
STEP 1
Log in to the NAS by opening a web browser and entering the IP address of the
NAS device. It is important to include the port 8080 following the IP address.

STEP 2
Choose
Network Services > FTP Service
from the Navigation menu. The
FTP
Service
window opens.
STEP 3
Uncheck the
FTP Standard
check box and check
FTP with SSL
.
STEP 4
Use the default values for all other parameters.
STEP 5
Click
Apply
.
NOTE
To access the system that is configured only for FTPS, the user also needs to set
the FTP client to FTPS (explicit).
