R RESET

Reset all settings except 

F DATE/TIME,  N TIME DIFFERENCE,  O BACKGROUND COLOR, 

and 

Q VIDEO SYSTEM to default values.

 Highlight 

R RESET and press the selector right to display a confi rmation dialog.

 Highlight OK and press MENU/OK.

 K

 K FORMAT

If a memory card is inserted in the camera, this option will format the memory card.  If no mem-
ory card is inserted, this option will format internal memory.

 

Q All data—including protected pictures—will be deleted from the memory card or internal 

memory.  Be sure important fi les have been copied to a computer or other storage device.

 

Q Do not open the battery-chamber cover during formatting.

Access the following GPS options

Access the following GPS options (

P 65)..

Immediately update GPS data.

 

R GPS data are not updated if OFF for LOCATION SEARCH.

Turn the GPS receiver on or off .

Display GPS data.

AUTO TIME CORRECTION Use GPS data to set the camera clock.
TRACKING DATA

Record GPS data.

Choose the units used to display GPS information.

Choose ON to embed GPS data in photos (GPS data will not be embed-
ded in movies, panoramas, or 3D photos). Note that GPS data can not be 
deleted; select OFF before shooting if you do not wish to record GPS data 
with your pictures.
