The following upgrade options can be installed in the printer.

 

Additional cassette can be used by installing this option. Refer to the installation
manual included in the option’s carton to install it.

16 MB (KX-PEM12) or 32 MB (KX-PEM13)

Enables to increase the printer’s memory. To install it, see the following instructions.

Microsoft® Windows® operating system (hereafter Windows)

 

• To prevent static electricity damage to the printer or optional board,
- Do not touch the connector of the printer board.
- Touch the printer’s bare metal frame often to discharge static electricity from your

body.

- Handle the circuit board only by the edges.
- Do not lay board on a metal surface.
• To prevent damage to the optional board, avoid exposing the optional board to direct

sunlight, high temperatures or humidity.

 

Turn the printer off, unplug the power cord and disconnect any cables
connected to the connectors on the back of the printer.
