Viewing the Images

• The password function is only a lock function and you 

cannot encrypt it.

• The [PRIVATE] folder can be played back with other 

cameras as a normal folder.

Z  Inputting password
A 4-digit password is necessary to play back, move or 
copy images in the [PRIVATE] folder, if you set the 
password.

When playing back images taken with Intelligent Face 
Detection (

➝p.31) (

 appears on the LCD monitor), 

press 

 (Intelligent Face Detection). A frame appears 

around the faces that were detected by FinePix Z100fd. 
Press 

 (Intelligent Face Detection) to alternate the 

detected face. For images shot with a camera other than 
FinePix Z100fd, the frame may not appear.

E Set the password.

A Press MENU/OK to open the top menu.

B Select [

 PRIVATE FOLDER] and input 

the password.

To select the required image:

Press p: last image

Press q: next image

To select images on the 
thumbnail lists screen, hold 
down p or q for 1 second 
during playback.
When releasing p or q, 
camera returns to single-
frame playback.
