MP3 refers to a new format of music files available for playback over the internet. Because of the popularity to
download music from MP3 websites onto ones home computer,  APEX Digital is the first company to offer in a
home DVD player, the ability to play back CD-R discs recorded with MP3 audio files.

A VCD looks like an ordinary 5” CD with the same digital audio quality, plus good video capability.  It is a new
video format that offers a better picture quality than VHS, with over an hour of playing time.
Notice: When you playback a video CD, you must turn PBC OFF in order to stop the chapter/scene.

AFF stands for APEX Full-screen Function. It allows you to fill the television screen viewing area when using a
widescreen formatted DVD. Press the AFF/AM-FM button on your remote control,this will eliminate black bars
on the top & bottom of the TV screen when viewing movies with an aspect ratio of 1.85:1 and minimize (but not
eliminate) black bars on movies with a wider aspect ratio (2.35:1).

AFF will not function in pause/stop mode.
