This feature prevents (protects) images from accidental erasure.

1. Set the mode dial to the 

 Playback mode.

2. Select the image that you want to protect by

using the   or   buttons.

3. Press the 

 menu button.

4. Select “PROTECT” by using the 

 or 

buttons, and press the   button.

5. You can protect one image or all images at

one time by using the   or   buttons, and
press the   button.
ONE IMAGE: Protect one image at one time
ALL IMAGES: Protect all images at once

6. Select “UNLOCK” or “LOCK” by using the

 or 

 buttons.

UNLOCK: Unlock the protected image

 LOCK: Protect the selected image or all

images

7. Press the 

 button.

•Even protected images will be erased if you format the internal memory or the memory card.
