Images and movies taken with this camera are stored on an SD memory card. An SD memory
card must be present to use the camera.

1. Make sure the camera is turned off.
2. Open the SD memory card door.
3. Insert an SD memory card (512 MB or less.)

The face of  the memory card (printed label side)

should face towards the front side (lens side) of the
camera.

If the card cannot be inserted, check the orientation.

4. Close the SD card cover.

To remove an SD memory card
Make sure the camera is off. Open the SD card cover. Press lightly on the edge of the
memory card and it will eject.

To prevent valuable data from being accidentally

erased from an SD card you can slide the write

protect tab (on the side of the SD memory card) to

“LOCK”.

To save, edit, or erase data on an SD memory card,

you must, however, unlock the card.

To prevent accidental dropping of the camera, always
use the camera strap.

Attach the camera strap as follows:
1. Pass the end of the camera strap through the strap

attachment and then through the strap buckle as
shown.

2. Attach the other end of the strap in the same way.
