Note: the electrode should be
submerged approximately
4 cm (1½") into the solution.
The temperature probe should
be located as close as pos-
sible to the pH electrode.
• Rinse the electrode and the temperature probe
before immersing them into pH 4.01/ pH10.01
calibration buffer, shake briefly and wait for
thermal equilibrium.
• The meter automatically rec-
ognizes the buffer value and
prompts for the second at "t2"
(pH 4.01, acid) or "t3"
(pH 10.01, alkaline).
• Press the CON key to confirm the pH value
and the display will indicate the temperature
compensated buffer value e.g. if the tempera-
ture is at 25°C, the display will show "pH 4.01"
or "10.01", depending on the solution used.
If the temperature is at 20°C, the display will
show respectively "pH 4.00" or "pH 10.06"
(see page 26).
• Press CON key again to confirm calibration.
The pH symbol will stop flashing and the unit
is now calibrated and ready for measure-
ments.
