This feature allows the user to delete unwanted sections of a recording.  
To delete a section of a recording you must select a start point and an end point. The 
section of recording between these points will be deleted. 
 
 
 

 

 
Press the EDIT key to access the partial delete screen. 
 
The recording to be edited will be played out in the top left corner of the screen. 
 
Setting the Start Point 
Navigate to the start of the section you wish to delete from the recording.  
 
It is best to Pause the recording at the point you wish to set as a Start or 
End point.  
 
Press the OK key and the current screen will be placed in the Start Window along with 
it’s time reference. To confirm the start point press the OK key again. 
 
Setting the Start Point at the Beginning of a Recording 
 
If you wish to delete from the beginning of the recording, press the Yellow (From 
Beginning) key. This will set the Start Point at the very beginning of the Recording.  
Press the OK key to confirm this start point. 
 
To cancel the start point press the Green Key. 
 
Setting the End Point 
 
Navigate to the End point of the section to be deleted.  
 
Press the OK key to add the current point to the End window. 
 
Press the OK key to confirm the End point. 
 
Setting the End Point at the End of a Recording 
If you wish to delete up to the end of the recording, press the Yellow (Until End) key. 
This will set the End Point at the very end of the Recording.  
Press the OK key to confirm this End point. 
 
Once the Start and End points have been set you can preview the point without 
the deleted section. This allows you to see how the recording will view with the 
section removed before permanently deleting it. To see a preview press the Red 
key. 
 
To reset the Start and End Points press the Green key. 
 
To exit the menu with out deleting the section press the EXIT key. 
 
To delete the section press the Del key on the remote control. Confirm that you 
wish to delete the section and press the OK key. If you do not wish to delete the 
section press the EXIT key. 
 
Once a section of a recording has been deleted, it can not be restored. 
A minimum period of 1 second can be deleted.
