Call Barring allows you to restrict specific types of incoming and outgoing calls on your phone. This is useful if you 
allow someone to use your phone for a short period of time.

This network service informs you when someone is trying to reach you during another call.
To set your call waiting options:

In Idle mode, press Menu

Call settings 

➔ 

Call waiting and press the Select soft key

Select Options

Activate, Deactivate, or Check status then press the Select soft key or 

.

 

The current status displays. If the option was already set, the number to which the calls are forwarded displays.

This option allows you to activate the phone to alert you when the call connects with a Call connect tone, Minute 
minder, or Call end tone.

Call status tones and press the Select soft key

Highlight Call connect tone, Minute minder, or Call end tone and press 

 to insert a check mark beside your 

selection.

Press Options

Save to save your selection.

This menu determines whether you are alerted with a sound during a call.
