Create a copy of the Password file:

$ copy orapw

.; orapw

.;

Create a copy of the instance specific parameter file:

$ copy init

.ora init

.ora

Create a copy of the properties file:

$ copy sid_

.properties sid_

.properties

Edit the files that were created in step 6 and step 7. (Before starting the 
instance, refer to the 

 following these numbered steps.)

Ensure that parameter remote_login_passwordfile is set to SHARED 
(default: EXCLUSIVE).

SQL> connect / as sysdba

SQL> startup

SQL> alter database add logfile thread 2

         group 4 ('ora_db:redo04.rdo') size 100m,

         group 5 ('ora_db:redo05.rdo') size 100m,

         group 6 ('ora_db:redo06.rdo') size 100m;

SQL> alter database enable public thread 2;

SQL> create undo tablespace UNDOTBS2 datafile

         '<

>' size <

>;

SQL> @ora_root:[rdbms.admin]catclust

Set up your environment:

$ @orauser 

SQL> connect / as sysdba

SQL> startup
