Setting Up Surround Sound Speakers
The DVD player has several AUDIO SURROUND jacks on the
back. You can tell the player what speakers you have connected
so you can get the best possible sound from your player.
1. Press the SETUP button on the remote control.

PRESS RETURN TO EXIT
Select SURROUND SOUND from the Setup menu.
2. Use the MOVE arrows on the remote to highlight
“SURROUND SOUND” and then press SELECT.

       SUBWOOFER
      YES
PRESS RETURN TO EXIT
Tell the player which speakers you have connected.
3. Use the MOVE up or down arrow on the remote to highlight
“CENTER, SURROUND, or SUBWOOFER” and then use the
MOVE right or left arrow to select YES or NO.
Select NO for CENTER if you did not attach a center
speaker.
Select NO for SURROUND (Rear) if you did not attach
rear surround speakers.
Select NO for SUBWOOFER if you did not attach a
subwoofer.
For example, if you connect your player as shown on page
14, answer YES to all three.

will be sent through the FRONT
SURROUND L and R jacks on the
back of the player.
