Changing and Checking the Settings

You can check the settings such as play mode and beeper or change settings as desired.

Press the MENU button.

The MENU screen appears.

If you press and hold the MENU button for
more than 2 seconds, the MENU screen is
not displayed but the backlight is turned on.
This is convenient when checking the display
in dark places.

Press the Select button ( / ) to select the item to be
changed or checked, then press the Select button ( ).

PLAY MODE:

Select from play modes including repeat and
random playback. (

EQUALIZER:

Select the equalizer mode. (

page 28)

SORT:

Specify whether the Playlist and audio data are
sorted in alphabetical order or by date.

BACKLIGHT:

Operating the player results in the screen
backlight illuminating. Select the delay time until
the backlight is turned off.

BEEPER:

Specify whether or not confirmation beeper will
be activated.

LANGUAGE:

Select the language to be used for displaying the
MENU screen and error messages. This
selection will not affect the PLAY screen and
NAVI screen.

STATUS:

Shows the amount of the empty space remaining
on the HDD Card and additional information
about the player.

Press the Select button ( / ) to select the setting, then
press the PLAY/PAUSE button (

) .

The selected parameter is set and a check mark [

] appears at the

left of the parameter.

Press the MENU button.

The PLAY screen is restored.
