LG-Ericsson iPECS ES-1000G Gigabit Ethernet Switches provide a true
plug and play solution for connecting various networking devices. These
switches easily connect to any network using a combination of auto
negotiation to select the optimum speed and duplex for each link and
auto MDI/MDIX to remove the need for cross over cables. Each prod-
uct interoperates seamlessly with the customer’s existing network at
wirespeed without any additional configuration, and it is easy to diag-
nose and monitor the operational status and activity using the per-port
diagnostic LEDs.

iPECS ES-1000G Switches incorporate simple QoS mechanisms
based on 802.1p tagging and IP TOS. These mechanisms use priority
queues, permitting the customer’s network to deal with VoIP traf-
fic effectively using a higher priority. These switches are optimized
for small offices to setup a simple VoIP network with a minimum
investment and fully take advantage of the benefits of IP Telephony.
