To connect a Time Machine dedicated USB storage device

1  Connect a USB HDD (40 GB or larger) to the 

Time Machine Ready

 jack on the 

TV. The Time Machine function works only with the 

Time Machine Ready

 

jack.

2  The USB HDD must be initialized to be used for Time Machine. 

When connecting a USB HDD that has not been initialized, select 

MY APPS

 screen appears. 

3  Complete the USB HDD initialization, and set 

Time Machine Mode

 to 

On

✎ To remove USB storage device, be sure to select 

Quick Menu

USB Device

 

and confirm the message that the USB storage device has been removed 

before removing.
