Thank you for purchasing the Heavy Duty Air Compressor by Wagan Tech.
With normal care and proper treatment it will provide years of reliable
service. Please read all operating instructions carefully before use.

The Heavy Duty Air Compressor is specially designed to easily inflate tires
on even the largest trucks as well as all conventional vehicles. It can be
powered with any 12 volt power supply (like that provided by your vehicle's
cigarette lighter jack) provided the output is 15 amps or more. When
plugged into a vehicle's cigarette lighter jack, be sure to keep your vehicle's
engine running to avoid drainage of battery and ensure quickest possible
inflation time. Always operate with adequate ventilation while vehicle
engine is running.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:

To inflate tires

1.  Firmly push the connector onto the tire's valve stem (Fig. 1) and
close the locking thumb latch (Fig. 2). (Make sure that the
connector is on tight before locking the thumb latch to insure
proper operation)

                                    Fig.1                                            Fig.2

2.  Plug the power cord cigarette lighter plug into your 12 volt power
source
3.  Check the pressure with the pressure gauge
4.  When the desired air pressure is reached, open the thumb latch and
remove the connector from the valve stem. Unplug the cigarette lighter
plug from the power source. Important: when storing the compressor,
always leave the thumb latch in the open position

Note: If your tire is totally deflated, it is possible that the seal between your tire
and the rim might be broken. This usually happens only on completely flat tires. In
the event that this situation does exist, you will have to jack up the car first.

TO INFLATE OTHER ITEMS :

1. Insert the appropriate needle into connector (chuck) and close thumb latch

2. Refer to the "Common Inflation Pressure Chart" (below) for your application's
pressure and time. Small items such as sports balls inflate very rapidly

3. Insert the needle into the item to be inflated

4. Check the pressure with the pressure gauge

5. When the desired air pressure is reached, open the thumb latch and
remove the needle from the inflated item. Turn the compressor OFF. Unplug
the power cord and remove the needle from the connector
