Insert the ThinkPad hard disk
drive into the compartment

Insert the connector

flat-ribbon cable into the
connector

 of the Dock I.

Push the ThinkPad hard disk
drive in until it stops.

If you need to remove the
ThinkPad hard disk drive,
you must release the latches.
See “Releasing the Latches”
on page 4-10.

Install the blank bezel. Perform
the removal procedure in the
reverse order.

See “Removing the Blank Bezel” on page 4-8.

If you have removed an adapter
card, reinstall it.

See “Installing an Adapter Card” on page 4-22.

Install the bottom cover.

See “Installing the Bottom Cover” on page 4-5.

Removing the ThinkPad Hard Disk Drive.

To remove the ThinkPad hard disk drive, perform the installation
procedure in the reverse order.
