Write and send messages
Your device can send text messages beyond the normal 160-character limit. If
your message exceeds 160 characters, it is sent as a series of two or more
messages. The number of available characters and the current part number of a
multipart message are shown on the top right of the display, [for example 120/2].
Using special [Unicode] characters such as ë, â, á, ì takes up more space.
