Taking Still Pictures
Use the Still setting
on the Mode dial whenever you take pictures or wish to
customize your picture-taking settings. Before you take a picture, make sure
your picture storage location is set the way you want it (

Frame your subject. Use the viewfinder, or

CAUTION:
Do not insert or remove a Picture Card when the green
viewfinder light is blinking. Doing so may damage your
