[Miniature Effect]
This effect creates a diorama-like picture by intentionally 
defocusing all but one section of the picture.
 
Items that can be set
Brightness

 Press     or     to move the focusing area (frame)
  Rotate the dial to select the size of the focusing area (frame)

 •When you press [DISP] button, the initial setting condition 
is restored.
 
The monitor image is displayed with a slight delay compared to normal recording.
 
No audio is recorded for motion pictures.
 
With camera model 18 460
When a motion picture is recorded, the finished recording will be approximately 1/8th 
of the actual recorded time period. (If you record a motion picture for 8 minutes, 
the resulting motion picture recording time will be approximately 1 minute.) The 
recordable time displayed on the camera is approx. 8x longer than actual recording. 
When the recording mode is changed, be sure to check the recordable time.
 
With camera models 18 461 / 18 462
When a motion picture is recorded, the finished recording will be approximately 1/10th 
of the actual recorded time period. (If you record a motion picture for 10 minutes, 
the resulting motion picture recording time will be approximately 1 minute.) The 
recordable time displayed on the camera is approx. 10x longer than actual recording. 
When the recording mode is changed, be sure to check the recordable time.
 
If you stop recording motion pictures too soon, the camera may continue recording for 
a certain time. Hold the camera in the same position until it stops recording.
 
When you take a picture using a high resolution setting, the screen will become dark 
for a certain period of time after the picture is taken. However, this occurs due to 
signal processing and is not a defect.
