Setting the movement ranges (limiter 
function) of a remote camera
Depending on the installation location, there may be an obstruction in 
a movement range of a remote camera, and the remote camera may 
come into contact with that obstruction when the pan or tilt operation is 
performed.
A malfunction or accident may occur if the remote camera comes into 
contact with the obstruction so you need to set a limiter in front of the 
obstruction to prevent contact.
Also set a limiter if there is a subject you do not wish to shoot in a 
movement range.
From the unit, you can configure the remote camera limiter setting for 
the direction of each of the up, down, left, and right limits.
Setting procedure
1 . 
Press the MENU button .
2 . 
Open PTZ ADJUST menu [30] .
3 . 
Turn the F1 dial to display the “3 . LIMIT UP” item .

When AW‑HE50, AW‑HE60, or AW‑HE120:
4 . 
Turn the F2 dial to select “On”, and then press the F2 
dial to confirm the selection .
The position in the up direction of the currently selected remote 
camera is set as the up limit and the limiter is enabled.
(The setting is stored in the remote camera.)

Turn the F2 dial .
Press the F2 dial .

Turning the F2 dial to display “Off↓” and then pressing the F2 dial 
to confirm the selection cancels the limiter.

When other remote camera
4 .  Press the F2 dial to confirm the setting .
The position in the up direction of the currently selected remote 
camera is set as the up limit and the limiter is enabled.
(The setting is stored in the remote camera.)

Press the F2 dial .

If the F2 dial is turned or the F1 dial is turned to display another 
item and then the “3. LIMIT UP” item is redisplayed, “EXEC↓” 
reappears on the second line of the LCD panel.  
If the F2 dial is pressed at this time, “LIMIT OFF” is displayed and 
the limiter is cancelled.
5 . 
Turn the F1 dial to display the “4 . LIMIT DOWN”, 
“5 . LIMIT LEFT”, or “6 . LIMIT RIGHT” item .
Perform the same operation as step 4 to set the down limit, left limit, 
and right limit.
