Setup Instructions

Octabank
Style Series:  3661, 3662

Description
The 5’ & 7’ OCTABANK is supported by eight (8) fiberglass rods and has a silver interior with a removable
internal baffle and a removable exterior diffuser panel.  It is constructed of specialized, flameproof fabric near the
light and weighs less than 5 pounds.  It offers a diagonal large light source with a very even light spread with
generally less than ½ stop light loss from center to edge.  The Octabank now comes standard with a Mounting and
Tilter Bracket to allow the weight of the soft box to be placed on the light stand and not the actual light itself.

INSTRUCTIONS
To assemble, place your first rod in one of the eight- (8) holes on the ring and then position the opposite rod
directly across from the first one.  Continue alternating until you have placed six (6) of the rods in the ring.  The
last two (2) will be easier to slide in the ring if you gently push down on the middle of the rod causing it to bow
inward, allowing the tip to pop into the hole in the ring.  To disassemble gently push down on the ring with one
hand and the rod with the other and pop the rod out of the hole on the ring. Continue to do this in the same
alternating method that you did to set it up.

GRIP HEAD ADAPTERS
To mount the #2300 – place the silver block between one of the cross members of the adapter ring,
lining up the screw holes in the silver blocks.  Insert the two- (2) screws in the holes in the blocks. Insert
the brass stud(s) into the bottom of the silver block and you are ready to mount to your adapter into your
tilter bracket and then onto your stand.
***All lights over 1000 watts are recommended to use a two-stand setup.***
