Contacts and Relays
The System can monitor external contact closure events for the following applications: 
•  Magnetic contact switches
•  Window foil
•  Tamper switches 
•  Heat detectors
•   Water  sensors
•  Pressure sensors
•  Building smoke and fire detection systems
You can set input contacts to cause alarm conditions based on their current state and a user-defined 
normal state. Output contacts can map internal alarms and events to outside devices.

Input contacts
Path: Main > Setup > System # > Input/Output > Input Contacts
Each Main Module supports up to 16 user-defined input contacts. Each contact monitors a sensor and 
responds to changes in the state of the sensor (open or closed). 
Name. 
Provide a unique name for each input contact.
Normal. 
Choose the normal state of the sensor. If the state changes, the controller takes the action 
defined by the Alarm Map setting.
Delay. 
Set how long the contact should be out of its normal state before the controller takes action 
(controlled by the Alarm Map setting).
