incinerate. Batteries may explode if 

overheated.

•  Do not wrap in metal or aluminum foil. 

Wrap in newspaper before discarding.

town or city to determine proper battery 

redemption site(s) in your area.

additional information on a recycling center 

in your area for rechargeable batteries.

separate into three materials: cardboard (box), 

polystyrene foam (buffer) and polyethylene 

(bags, protective foam sheet.)
