WARNING

The adapter is part of the 

 collector system.

Do not operate unless the adapter and entire

 collector 

 installed. If vacuum collector

is removed, 

 the adapter and be sure mower

deflector is In original position.

WARNING

Shut off tractor engine 

and 

 key before

installing or removing the adapter.

1. Refer to 

 I to take inventory of required parts.

2. Attach the latch (K, 

 1) to 

 

18   1 carriage bolt 

 

 16   I washer (P),   16

washer (N),   16 lockwasher (M) and 

 16 nut 

3. Install the spacer 

 

 with hardware shown,

in hole (A, figure 2) in mower deck. Remove existing
hardware. For the 42” adapter, use a 

    1

carriage bolt. For 

 

 

carriage bolt. For the 42” adapter, use a   8 washer (B,

 

 

 lockwasher (M) and 

 nut (N)

supplied. For the 48” mower, use existing washer and
nut and the 

 washer (B) supplied.
