This socket is for connecting an FM antenna.

B

DIGITAL INPUT OPT 1, OPT2 & COAX (20–23,
25–28)

These optical and coaxial digital audio inputs can be
used to connect a DVD, CD, LD (laser disc) player
or other components with digital audio outputs.

COMPONENT VIDEO INPUT 1, 2 (20–23, 25,
26)

These component video inputs can be used to con-

such as DVD players and TVs. Component video
connections provide better picture quality than
S-Video. Use dedicated component video cables.

D

MONITOR OUT (21, 22)

These component video, S-Video, and composite
video outputs can be connected to the video inputs
on your TV or projector.
Only video signals from a video input of the same
format are output. For example, the COMPONENT
MONITOR OUT outputs component video signals
received by COMPONENT VIDEO INPUT 1 or 2,
not an S-Video or composite video input.

E

nected to the

nent. The TX-L55’s remote controller can then be
used to control that component. To use
, you
must make an analog audio connection (RCA)

if they are connected digitally.

Note:
