2.4 Radar Display Control Functions
This section describes how to use the radar controls to:
•
Use the zoom function to enlarge a selected area.
•
Offset the center of the radar display.
•
Momentarily hide the ship’s heading marker (SHM).
Using the Zoom Function
If you wish to see a section of the radar picture in more detail, you can use the
Zoom function to magnify the selected area to twice its size. There are two
zoom options:

dow in the lower right corner of the screen. A box in the original radar pic-
