Use the Symbol Settings window to set specific settings for the mobile computer.

The mobile computer can be configured to wakeup from sleep mode.

1.

Tap Start - Settings - System tab - Symbol Settings icon - Wakeups tab.

Select the Trigger, Any Key and/or Touch Panel check box in the Power Off or Auto Off list 
box. See 

 for a list of wakeup conditions settings.

Tap ok.

Only the default (Trigger and Any Key) wakeup condition settings are retained 
after a cold boot. However, all settings are maintained after a warm boot.

Power Off

When the mobile computer goes into 
sleep mode by pressing the Power 
button, these actions wake the 
mobile computer up.

Trigger

Trigger button is pressed.

Any Key

Any key on the keypad is pressed.

Touch Panel

Touch screen is tapped.
