Registration assembly
Before proceeding, remove the following components:

NOTE:
It is not necessary to separate the upper rear cover from the rear cover to remove the
registration assembly.

RD sensor assembly. See

TIP:
Removing the RD sensor assembly makes it much easier to reinstall the registration
assembly.

Power supply fan and fan duct. See

Remove the registration assembly
NOTE:
If a replacement registration assembly is installed, you must use the control panel menus to
reset the registration-roller count.
