Change to the desired signal timing listed on page 24: COMPLIANT TIMING.

Windows 95/98/2000/Me/XP Plug & Play
The iiyama LCD monitor complies with DDC1/2B of VESA standard. The Plug & Play function runs
on Windows 95/98/2000/Me/XP by connecting the monitor to DDC1/2B compliant computer with
the Signal Cable supplied.
For installation on Windows 95/98/2000/Me/XP: The Monitor Information File for iiyama monitors
may be necessary. For installing procedure, see “Driver File” on the Information CD.
NOTE

Monitor Drivers are not required in most cases for Macintosh or Unix operating systems.
For further information, please contact your computer dealer first for advice.

The Information CD runs automatically when you insert the CD into your computer.

The Information CD will not run automatically when you insert the CD into your computer. Please
click the file “INDEX.HTML” on the Information CD.

Software Requirements

The Information CD is optimized for Microsoft
®
 Internet Explorer (version 5.5 or greater).
„
The contents may not be displayed properly with Netscape or other web browsers.
„
The Information CD is not guaranteed to run under the Linux OS. Please read the file
“FOR_LINUX.TXT” for more information.
„
Press the [Alt] & [Tab] keys together to display the [Monitor Check] screen if the menu page
does not appear in front of the test pattern when using the Adjustment Program.
„
You will not see the opening image if Macromedia
®
 Flash Player™ is not installed on your
computer. For full functionality please download the latest version from:
http://www.macromedia.com/downloads

You will not be able to read the user manual if Adobe
®
 Acrobat
®
 Reader™ is not installed on your
computer. Instructions to install the Reader can be found on the Information CD by clicking on
the “User Manual” tab and reading “Get Acrobat Reader.”

Language Selection
The Menu is in English on start-up. Select your language from “Select your language” pull-down
menu.
