Hold down the SelecType button for several seconds until you

enter SelecType Level 2. A SelecType Level 1 option is displayed

briefly before the printer enters the Level 2 main menu.

Press the   or   button until the “CH CONFIG P,S” menu

appears.

Press the   button to enter the option; one of the submenus

(MODE, I/F, or RX-/BUFFER) appears.

Press the   or   button until the MODE submenu appears. If

this menu is displayed in step 3, ignore this step.
Press the   button to enter the option; one of the options and
the   icon appear.

Press the   or   button until the   PS” option appears.

Press the   button to set the PS option.

Press the SelecType button once to exit SelecType.

The I’S mode remains in effect until you change the setting or turn

off the printer. If you want to make this setting permanent, use the

“P-CONFIG. SAVE” menu in SelecType Level 2. See your printer

manual.
