Protect Your Device Data with a Password

Touch the Home button 

→ Apps button 

→ 

Settings 

→ Location & security.

Touch 

Configure lock screen under the Lock screen section

→ 

Password.

On the Choose your password page that appears, enter a 
password in the text box. A valid password consists of at least 4 
characters and contains at least one letter.

Touch Continue to proceed.

Enter the password again to confirm.

Touch OK.

To disable or change the password

Touch the Home button 

→ Apps button 

→ 

Settings 

→ Location & security.

Touch 

Configure lock screen under the Lock screen section.

Enter the password you have enabled.

Select Not secured to disable the PIN; select Password to change 
the password.
