Adjusting the Exposure (Scan Density)
Density is the degree of differences between light and dark areas of an image. The
<DARK> setting will make an image darker, whereas the <LIGHT> setting will make
it lighter.

it lighter.
Follow the procedure of "Sending Methods" (see p. 4-1), and adjust the density as
follows when required to do so:

Press [Exposure].

Press [ ] or [ ] to select the density
➞ press [Set].
You can select from the following:
- <STANDARD> for standard documents
- <DARK> for light documents to be darker
- <LIGHT> for dark documents to be lighter
