What you will need

Make sure that you have received the following items:
• USB modem with built-in USB cable
• Phone

cord

• CD containing installation and communications software.

You also need the following:

• A PC running Windows® Vista, XP, 2000, Me, or 98SE

or
a Macintosh running OS X or 9.x
or
a Linux-based computer

•  Available USB port on your computer
•  DVD or CD drive
•  A telephone jack to plug the modem into, so the modem can dial

out and receive calls.
