APPLICATION

When installed in forced air heating and cooling systems, the V-Flex kills airborne and surface
microorganism contaminants.  It is designed to be mounted in-duct for airborne, “on-the-fly”
applications as well as surface irradiation applications.  The design allows for many different
levels of UV dosage.  Proper dosage is affected by many factors, such as air temperature,
velocity, and duct reflectivity.  The space between supports (typically 32”) and the space between
rows (typically 24” for surfaces and 12” to 18” for moving air streams) can be increased or
reduced to adjust for dosage.
