This command configures the maximum number of clients that can be associated with the access 
point at the same time.

max-association <count>

count is the maximum number of associated stations. Range: 0‐250

•  The maximum number of associations is 250 if you are NOT using encryption or 

authentication. 

•  The maximum number of associations is 120 if you ARE using encryption or authentication.

Use this command for the default interface or any of the seven VAPs configurable per radio 
interface.

The following example shows setting the max‐association for the default interface and a VAP.
