This technology pack can collect data from gateways installed at the customer site or within the
service provider core network.
This sub-element supports the following types of PSTN gateways:
PSTNGatewayCisco3745: Any 3700 series device supporting POP-MIB, DSP-MIB, ISDN-
MIB, and DIAL-CONTROL-MIB.
PSTNGatewayCiscoAS5300: Any AS5x00 series device supporting POP-MIB and DSP-MIB.
PSTNGatewayCiscoOtherISDN: Any 2600, 3600, 1700 series device supporting only ISDN-
MIB.
PSTNGatewayCiscoCat6k: Any Catalyst6500 with MSFC Wan module with T1/E1 PRI
interfaces for PSTN connectivity, supporting only MIB2 for those PSTN interfaces.
A PSTN gateway is registered to a CCM server, not to the cluster itself. PSTN gateways can be
registered to one or more clusters. You cannot get any CDRclusterId attributes based on
available SNMP information.
To get information about D Channel status and gateway registration status with CallManager,
additional Media Gateway data are also collected through the CCM Server SNMP Agent. In this
case, this technology pack creates a separate sub-element per entry in the ccmGatewayTable.
