Chapter 4 Wireless Configuration
The following table describes the labels in this screen. 
If you selected Infrastructure network type in the first screen, select WEPWPA, 
WPA2WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK or 802.1x from the drop-down list box to enable data 
encryption. If you selected Ad-Hoc network type in the first screen, you can use only 
WEP encryption method. Otherwise, select DISABLE to allow the NWD-170N to 
communicate with the access points or other peer wireless computers without any data 
encryption, and skip to step

The screen varies depending on the encryption method you select in the previous screen. 
The settings must be exactly the same on the APs or other peer wireless computers as 
they are on the NWD-170N. Refer to

wireless security configuration.

Wireless Mode
This is the wireless standard the NWD-170N uses. In Ad-Hoc mode, you can use 
only 802.11g.
Channel
Select a channel number from the drop-down list box. To associate to an ad-hoc 
network, you must use the same channel as the peer computer.
