Remove the output tray.
Lift the edge of the output tray slightly to remove
it. Also remove the optional SpectroProofer if
installed.

Release the Maintenance Box 2 lock.

Pull Maintenance Box 2 out carefully so that it
does not tilt.

Caution:
If ink should spill out onto your skin or into
your eyes, wash the affected area with water
immediately.

Place the used Maintenance Box 2 in the clear bag
included with your new Maintenance Box 2, and
make sure that the zipper is closed tight.
Note:
Do not tilt Maintenance Box 2 until it is completely
in the clear bag and the zipper is closed. The waste
ink may leak and soil the surrounding area.

Insert the new Maintenance Box 2.
Push it in firmly.
Note:
Do not touch the green IC chip on the side of
Maintenance Box 2. Doing so may prevent normal
operation and printing.
