4.28 LCD Module

Installing the LCD Module

To install the LCD module, follow the steps below and refer to figures 4-40 and 4-41.

1. Secure the two metal braces to the LCD module with the following screws.

• M2×3 SUPER FLAT screw

2. Lean the LCD module against the lower side of the display cover.

3. Connect the LCD cable to the LCD module.

4. Stick the grass tape on the LCD cable.

5. (For SXGA+ models only)

Stick the copper tape on the LCD cable.

NOTE: When sticking the copper tape, make sure the copper part of the copper
tape is in the center position of the LCD cable.

6. Seat the LCD module and secure it with the following screws.

• M2×5 SUPER FLAT screw

CAUTION: Make sure the cables lie inside the guide. Be careful not to damage
or pinch any cables when you seat the LCD module.
