From the day over 50 years ago when we created the first magnet recording tape, right up until the present day as we push the boundaries

even further with our Tera-Angstrom™ technology, Imation have never stopped innovating. So when you entrust your data to Imation 

magnetic tapes, you know you couldn't be in safer hands.

The Imation Ultrium™ system is based on the industry's first open data storage platform. The LTO consortium, which comprises drive 

manufacturers HP, IBM and Certance (now owned by Quantum), developed this technology to meet the explosive midrange and enterprise

storage demands analysts predict over the next decade. The result of this unprecedented collaboration is an exceptionally reliable, high-

performance format with a forward looking drive capacity migration plan that allows consortium drives to work interchangeably with a host

of media brands. LTO 2-4 is also available as "AUTOMATION PACK".

Imation Black Watch DLTtape IV Cartridges offer up to 80GB capacity (compressed) and have been certified to meet or exceed all ANSI 

and ECMA standards for use with DLT 4000, 7000, 8000, and DLT 1/VS 80 drives. As your capacity requirements grow, your network and 

data centres require reliable media to store more and more data faster. Super DLTtape I technology provides the highest capacity available. 

Imation Black Watch™ Super DLTtape I cartridges provide flexible capacity, up to 320GB of storage at up to 32MB/second transfer rate 

and are read/write compatible in both SDLT 220 and SDLT320 drives. SDLT II tapes even provide capacities with up to 600GB compressed

(300GB native).

Imation’s DataGuard™Transport and Storage Case, the first terabyte-class storage case, provides the highest level of protection for your

cartridges to help ensure the safety of vital company information. Rugged and ultra durable, the Imation DataGuard Transport and Storage

Case has been tested to outperform other leading storage cases in everyday use with two to four times the shock protection. Its design 

features a universal exterior case with two inter-changeable inserts to accommodate a variety of cartridge formats, offering enhanced flexi-

bility for multiformat cartridge users. The Imation DataGuard case is part of our DataGuard rf Solution and can be tagged with RFiD labels

for tracking and tracing, including GPS tracking possibility.
