This publication outlines the characteristics, application and operation of the
Analog Line Card. The information is intended to be used as a guide when
connecting customer-provided apparatus to the line circuit. The following
Analog Line Card is available:

 

 Analog Line Card 

The Analog Line Card provides talk battery and signaling for regular 

common battery 

 (rotary dial), 

 (DIGITONE dial)

telephones and key telephone equipment.

The 

 Analog Line Card mounts in an 

 Intelligent

Peripheral Equipment Module 

 The circuit connects with the

switching system and with the external apparatus via an 

 connector at

the rear of the pack. The pack is 3 18 mm (12.5 in) in height and 254 mm
(10 in) in depth.

The circuits are connected to the shelf backplane and fed to the I/O panel
via I/O cables. Fron the I/O panel, the circuits are connected to the 
connect terminal via 

 cables. Connection to the station apparatus is

made at the cross-connecting terminal.
