3.2 Quick Start 
3  Diagnostic Programs 
3.2.6  DMI Read 
Read the information from the system’s SMBIOS and display it in the screen as follows:  
 
 
   
User can press any key to exit the program. 
3.2.7  DMI Write 
In addition to reading the DMI information, DMI Write also permits attributes editing 
and updating: Manufacture, Product Name, Version, Serial Number, and OEM Part 
Number, etc. The following screen will be displayed: 
 
 
 
 
In this screen, there are two lines which attribute could be edited and updated. The 1
st
 
line (the font in yellow with blue background) shows the attribute’s value that is read 
from the current system and the 2
nd
 line (the font in red with turquoise background) 
shows the same value as that in the 1
st
 line before user’s editing. User can modify the 
attribute’s value in the 2
nd
 line and press Enter to confirm the current edition and 
continue editing the next attribute. 
During the editing, user could press F2 to confirm the DMI attribute update or press F4 
to ignore the modification. Press ESC to exit the program of DMI Write.
