Central to the development of the new P7000 family
of line matrix printers was the design of a completely
new consumable. Addressing our customers' requests
for fewer user interventions, darker images, and easier
ribbon loading, the new P7000 Ultra Capacity Ribbon
was created.
Formulated for high yield, dark, high definition bar
code and text printing. These ribbons increase printing
productivity with fewer ribbon changes resulting in
reduced overall cost of printing.

Advantages of the Ultra Capacity Ribbon
• Ultra Long Life:
Rated at 90 million characters,
delivers up to a 300% improvement in ribbon life
over our most popular 30 million character ribbon -
significantly reducing the number of user
interventions.
• One ribbon for all models (pedestal and cabinet):
Large
spools and simple load hubs designed exclusively for
P7000 printer series.
• One Ribbon Fits Almost All Applications:
Single ink
formulation provides optimal images for both text
and bar code printing.
• Integrated Print Management System:
The Ultra
Capacity ribbons include the necessary bar code
to work integrally with the new Integrated Print
Management System to provide complete visibility.
The P7000 has a new feature that automatically
monitors and communicates ribbon life and quality.
This allows the system administrator to have precise
control over print quality, consumable costs, and job
planning.
• Lowest Cost of Operation:
More yield from the ribbon
delivers a decrease in the cost per page and allow
users to stretch their consumables budget further.
• Easy Ribbon Changing:
Clamshell top access and new
easy-load spool/hub design make ribbon changing
easier than ever.
