•  This light is intended for handheld use only.  It is equipped with a 12 VDC cigarette 

lighter plug adapter.   

•  The light is shipped with a bi-modal switch.  The middle position is off.  Pressing UP 

turns the light ON momentarily, Pressing DOWN turns the light ON to stay on.   

•  Do not leave the light turned on unattended.   

•  The lens can become very hot during operation, and can cause burns to skin and 

objects.  Never touch the lens, and do not allow any objects to touch the lens during 
operation.     

 
 

 

 

•  Make sure power is off before performing any maintenance on the fixture.  HID 

fixtures produce extremely high voltage (greater than 24,000V) during operation.   

•  Remove the lensframe screw and nut, and set them aside for reuse later. 

•  Gently flex the lensframe outward, and pull it straight off.  Be careful not to twist or 

deform the lensframe when removing it.   

•  The lamp is attached to the reflector with one screw.  If the lamp requires 

replacement, then simply remove the mounting screw, replace the old lamp with a 
new one, and replace the mounting screw.  Make sure that the new lamp is oriented in 
the same direction as the old lamp.   

•  The lamp and ballast are connected by wires with quick-connects.  If any of these 

wires are damaged, then both the ballast and lamp must be replaced.  Do not attempt 
to repair damaged wires. 

•  The ballast is held in place with a flexible bracket.  To remove the ballast, simply 

spread the bracket, and pull the ballast straight out.  Install a new ballast by spreading 
the bracket and pushing the ballast straight in until it clicks and locks in place.   

•  When maintenance has been completed, first ensure that all connections are secured 

properly before proceeding.
