rise and fall of ohms reading to insure  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

that there are no open or dead spots in  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

the potentiometer. Check each lead to  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ground for shorts. Replace potentiometer
